Founded in 1979 in Westminster, California by Joe Grubbs, the OC Batbusters are unquestionably the most successful youth softball program of the past 30 years.
During that time, Batbuster players have earned over 500 college scholarships, while Batbuster teams have won over 30 National Championships. Moreover, Batbuster players have been included on every Olympic Team and on a USA National Team of some ilk every year since the mid-1980’s.
Batbuster players have been awarded the NCAA and USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year for DI Softball. There are also hundreds of Batbusters who have won All-American, All-Region, All-League and other awards.
Furthermore, Batbuster players have had tons of success off the field as well, producing multiple alums who are currently doctors, lawyers, university level scientists, university level professors, as well professional trainers, university softball head coaches, university assistant coaches and numerous HS coaches.

HOUSTON – The Top-18 elite Marucci travel organizations participated in the Marucci World Series Home Run Derby at “The Yard” at Baseball USA on July 20 with Diamond Kinetics on hand to measure each player’s swing metrics and swing data with SwingTracker.
After the competition was over, former MLB slugger and Houston native Adam Dunn (462 career home runs) stepped up to the plate to put a cap on a hugely fun and successful evening.
