Diamond Kinetics Welcomes The OC Batbusters as Official Partner

PITTSBURGH – Diamond Kinetics is very proud and excited to welcome the OC Batbusters – the premier girls’ fastpitch softball organization – as an official partner program of the company.

Founded in 1979 in Westminster, California by Joe Grubbs, the OC Batbusters are unquestionably the most successful youth softball program of the past 30 years.

During that time, Batbuster players have earned over 500 college scholarships, while Batbuster teams have won over 30 National Championships. Moreover, Batbuster players have been included on every Olympic Team and on a USA National Team of some ilk every year since the mid-1980’s.

Batbuster players have been awarded the NCAA and USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year for DI Softball. There are also hundreds of Batbusters who have won All-American, All-Region, All-League and other awards.

Furthermore, Batbuster players have had tons of success off the field as well, producing multiple alums who are currently doctors, lawyers, university level scientists, university level professors, as well professional trainers, university softball head coaches, university assistant coaches and numerous HS coaches.

Earlier this year, former Batbusters alum, University of Arizona standout and and current Batbusters coach Toni Mascarenas told flosoftball.com.

“To be a Batbuster means you’re ready to play with the best,” Mascarenas said. “You’re ready to step your game up and compete every pitch. There are no pitches off. My time as a Batbuster was some of the best years of my life. The friendships and sisterhoods I made will last me a lifetime. Getting to compete on the field with some of the best women athletes is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.”

With the partnership, Batbusters’ players will now add SwingTracker – the most comprehensive swing analysis system for softball players on the market today – to their training routine.

During each swing, SwingTracker captures over 11,000 data points per second while bringing data and motion analytics to players of all ages and skill levels.

The SwingTracker sensor provides instant insight and actionable feedback across 11 different swing metrics, within the four major components of the swing – Speed, Power, Quickness, and Control.

SwingTracker also provides instant 3D swing animation, 3D swing compare and customized 3D batting drills. SwingTracker’s unique technology allows players and coaches to combine 3D, video, and data sync to pinpoint exactly what the bat is doing during each part of the swing.

Diamond Kinetics has taken special care to ensure the SwingTracker swing system is engineered to help coaches and trainers maximize effectiveness with each of their players. Use one SwingTracker sensor to work with multiple players and connect with players remotely. Parents and coaches can easily track their player’s practice and progress between training sessions.

Moreover, as an official sponsor of the NFCA, Diamond Kinetics’ is uniquely qualified to help the Batbusters adopt, integrate and leverage technology usage for players, coaches and parents.

“The use of technology has become very important within the fastpitch community,” NFCA Executive Director Carol Bruggeman said. “Diamond Kinetics will provide our members with easy-to-use educational tools to help teams succeed.”

With an inherent focus toward optimizing the player/coach relationship and bringing easy to understand metrics, data and swing analysis to your fingertips, Diamond Kinetics enhances the learning and training experience for softball players of all skill levels, from the youth level all the way up to the collegiate level.
